Broken Faults

Broken broken are the days
Where you only find the faults
Of those you look at, then refuse
To see them in yourself.
But perhaps you see them,
Only see them,
On any other given day
In your eyes, your lack of smile
The faults you try to avoid.

From Allie to Eugene

I sing the song for you, Eugene
To anchor down your doubt
Of lost and found thoughts
Dragging in your fear;
A fear to breathe
To think
To live
To die, freely
Preventing, denying ageless decay
For being human, simply human
With a fear, with
Lost phrases
Lost words
A lost boy, looking for a way back
I sing this song for you, Eugene
To make sure you don’t fall off
The flailing, failing world

Penniless Worth

My soul is bleached from the sins of the world
From a pompous prick preoccupied with
His penniless worth. He might not be
Anything compared to the thousands
Not even Legion, but he is a devil

Blackbird's Kiss

I fell in love with the ghost
Of a young man trapped
Between untold worlds
His love for me fluttered along
Like a blackbird’s kiss
Dark and shallow underneath
But filled with whistling wallows
Weeping woe and falling light
Never once through his travels
Did his trials break his soul
Unlike my unsure rejection
That caught him with a wide
Doe-eyed look, a gaze
Of celestial rejection that
Forever grew across his face
